Central HS dedicates Falcon Athletic Stadium

Central High School’s new multi-sport stadium had its official coming out party Friday as the football team hosted Elkhorn.

Admission was free for the night and the Booster Club was giving away merchandise as part of a quarterly raffle.

At halftime, there was a brief ceremony recognizing those who worked to make the facility overhaul a reality. It started with a procession of public officials, School Board members and involved community members who helped make the project possible:

Also at halftime, there was recognition for those who worked on the track walkathons, which ended up buying track and field equipment for use in the new stadium:

While admission to the game tonight was free, attendees were encouraged to bring a donation of food for The Sharing Center. As you can see below, there was a good response.
