Silver Lake chamber to host craft show and expo on Nov. 13

The Greater Silver Lake Area Chamber of Commerce  has announced that the Chamber’s Third Annual Business and Craft Expo will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, at Riverview School on Prosser Street in Silver Lake from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The chamber is now taking applications for vendor and crafter booths for this event and encourages everyone to submit their applications as soon as possible to ensure securing a booth for this year’s expo. Food vendors are also needed as well as entertainment.

GSLACC was organized in early 2008 and has participated in the village’s Fourth of July celebration as well as sponsoring the first two expos. The organization, as its name indicates, is intended to serve the entire Silver Lake area, including all of Salem township and the included municipalities. New members are always welcome. Membership rates are very reasonable. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m., at Silver Lake Village Hall. The next meeting will be on Oct. 5. If you are interested in joining or would just like to visit, please plan to attend.

For more information and to obtain an expo booth application, contact Andy Lorentz at 206-6954 or andy@shirtzhappen.com.
