Anthony “Tony†M. Angeles, a member of the Boy Scout Troop 328, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He was honored with the Boy Scouts of America’s highest rank during a Court of Honor Ceremony held at Salem United Methodist Church in Salem on Saturday, Aug. 28.
Tony’s Eagle Scout project involved raising over $600 in donations to build a raised vegetable garden for the Sharing Center in Paddock Lake. State Rep. Samantha Kerkman and State Sen. Bob Wirch were on hand for the ceremony and presented Tony with a citation on behalf of the Wisconsin State Legislature, as well as a United States flag that had been flown over the State Capitol in commemoration of his achievement.
“Tony should be extremely proud of this outstanding accomplishment,†said Kerkman. “He has demonstrated true leadership and dedication to his community in the project he completed at The Sharing Center. I wish him all the very best in the future.â€
