Whether to turn off a street light at Wisconsin and South Riverside Drive — and perhaps consider others — is on the agenda of the Silver Lake Village Board meeting Wednesday night.
The board has, in the past, had some discussion about not lighting some lights as a money saving measure. Last year, the budget for street lights was $4,500 over budget.
The Village Board meeting begins at 7 p.m., at Village Hall, 113 S. First Street, Silver Lake.
