High school football gets started this week.
Both West of the I teams have set their rosters and will see their first game action this Friday.
Wilmot
Wilmot will meet Catholic Central at Wilmot’s Bucci Field, starting at 7 p.m. The school’s website says there’s free stuff involved for some fans, thanks to the cheerleading squad.
Central
While the new stadium at Central saw its first contests during the girls soccer season this spring, Friday’s JV and varsity games versus Round Lake will be the facility’s first football games.
Junior varsity will play at 5 p.m., with the varsity game following at 7 p.m.
