Funeral services for Firefighter EMT-Paramedic Eric Norden were held today at Holy Cross Church-West in Wilmot.
Norden, 30, a full-time firefighter for Salem Fire/Rescue and a part-time firefighter for several other area departments including Paris and Antioch and Silver Lake Rescue, was killed in a crash early Saturday morning just south of the state line. No one else was involved in the crash. Later that day, he was remembered in two impromptu ceremonies at the Kenosha County Fair.
Numerous firefighters from many area departments attended, with standing room only inside the church.
