Bristol School revamps open house

Bristol School will be taking a different approach to welcoming families this school year.

On Wednesday, Aug.  25, Bristol students and parents are invited to attend an open house, which will become an annual event.

Different from past years, families will be welcomed by staff members in the gym. Information on the new behavior management system will be presented to all in attendance. This will be done in an effort to strengthen the connection between home and school to promote positive student behavior. Guests will be invited to visit classrooms and lockers, meet the teachers, and enjoy a meal.

Students, staff, and parents will then gather together for a cookout to kick off the beginning of the school year.

The open house for Bristol students and families will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the school.
