At 11:13 a.m., Salem Fire/Rescue is responding to a report of a possible car fire in about the 27800 block Highway 50 (75th Street), Salem.
Dispatch reports that the vehicle is on the eastbound lanes side and is a blue El Camino. A passerby is reportedly trying to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher.
UPDATE 11:16 a.m. — Fire appears to be out.
UPDATE 11:18 a.m. — Some units being returned to quarters by command on the scene.
UPDATE 11:19 A.M. — Rescue squad unit being dispatched to scene.
