The victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Bristol Sunday has been identified.
The Sheriff’s Department identified Donald J. White, 57, of Union Grove as the driver of the motorcycle involved in the crash, which occurred at about 2:30 p.m.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, witnesses said a Chevy S-10 pick-up was stopped south bound on Highway 45, waiting to make a left turn onto Highway K. A motorcycle, driven by White and also south bound on Highway 45, struck the rear of the pickup just as it began to initiate its left turn. White was ejected after impact. He sustained significant trauma and died at the scene.
No citations have been issued and the crash remains under investigation.
