2009 Fairest of the Fair Jessica Pawlowski
The field for the 2010 Fairest of the Fair has been set.
The five contestants are:
- Corinne Herreid, 21 of Trevor.
- Mallory Hillock, 20, of Paddock Lake.
- Katie Kildahl, 19, of Twin Lakes.
- Ashley Leibforth, 21, of Bristol.
- Kayla Shortess, 20, of Salem.
The contestants underwent a preliminary screening Thursday evening. There will be a final screening Monday before different judges. The women will then again meet with the final judges over dinner on Wednesday evening, the first day of the fair, just before the judges pick a winner and a first runner-up.
The winner is announced at the fair at 9 p.m.
The 2010 Fairest of the Fair and the court will be a frequent presence at this year’s fair that runs from Aug. 18 to Aug. 22.
The fairest also represents the Kenosha County Fair for the next year, attending various events including the state Fairest of the Fair contest in January.
