Boy hit by car in Twin Lakes

Twin Lakes Police Department reporting that a 10-year-old boy was hit while riding his bicycle, suffering injuries to his arm. When police arrived at the location of the accident, 511 Wilmot Ave, neither the car or the boy were on the scene. After searching the area, police spotted the boy at Lakewood School and noticed ‘road rash’ on his arm. The boy stated that the car drove away after hitting him. Police have contacted the boy’s father and is coming to pick him up.
