Twin Lakes National Night Out coverage

Twin Lakes police Chief Dale Racer is dunked for the first time during his stint in the dunk booth at Tuesday night's National Night Out event.

Twin Lakes held its annual National Night Out event at St. John the Evangelist Church Tuesday night.

A large crowd was treated to a number of fire equipment displays and demonstrations of everything from Tasers to police canine units.

There also was a dunk tank (of which dunkees included Twin Lakes police Chief Dale Racer and yours truly), free food and a number of exhibits from related organizations.

Here is some video of the action — complete with a climb 70 feet in the air, a live “Tasering,” a dog attack, an explosion, rushing water and a helicopter landing.
