A music festival fundraiser to benefit the American Society for Suicide Prevention, is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 5, at New Munster Park, Wheatland.
The event is being oprganized by Knights of Columbus Twin Lakes Council 6554.
The event received approvals of the Wheatland Town Board last week for the use of the park and a Special Class “B†Fermented Malt Beverage License.
Four bands have been booked to perform at the fundraiser. Food and beverages will be sold. The event will take p[lace from noon to 6 p.m.
Board members raised no objections to the event and approved the use of the park and the liquor license unanimously.
“If it’s over at 6 o’clock, I can’t see it being a problem,” said town Chairman William Glembocki.
