Daily Quack: Still time to enter Fairest of the Fair

Leading up to this year’s Kenosha County Fair, West of the I will publish a Daily Quack about something connected to the fair. Check back daily to see why the fair is the place to have “a quackin’ good time.”

Could you be the fairest of the 2010 Kenosha County Fair?

If you’d like to find out there’s still time to enter this year’s Fairest of the Fair contest.

To enter you must be:

  • A legal resident of Kenosha County for at least one year.
  • Single and childless while competing and if selected during tenure.
  • At least 18 years old on Jan. 1, 2010 but will not reach the age of 25 by Jan. 1, 2011

Duties of the selected fairest of the  fair and the court will be serving as ambassadors of the fair, including daily attendance and numerous presentations and ceremonies. Contestants must be available for judging on two dates before the fair and the run of the fair, Aug. 18-22.

Entries close July 26. Mailed entries must be postmarked by that date.
