Thank you for the video. Being the parade marshall, I miss seeing the parade so I really enjoyed the footage you had here. Thanks again!
Darren, thanks so much for the coverage. Having WestOfTheI in the community is invaluable. Keep up the great work.
I’m sorry they had the “Diesel Dopes” in the parade, most kids around me were scared at the smoke and spinning of the wheels. On a track, that’s one thing, but at a parade. wrong place.
Tom
tom reilly,
were not “DOPES” we take pride in our diesel trucks and have a lot of money into them and everyone that i saw loved what we were doing.

i am a member of that group and i was in that parade and like chadd said everyone loved us and i have more money into my truck than youve ever seen
If anyone that saw us in the parade knew what the prep work was for us to even to run in that parade. Reason we did it was because union grove’s truck pulls got canceled due to rain. So this was to make up for it. Everyone I saw going through was rooting us on and maybe at some points we went to far but it did bring alot of excitement to alot of people. That blue truck at the front of the line had probably 600+ hrs of labor into it and about 30hrs into it just to set it up to run through the parade. Let alone the money dropped into it. So you can either love us or hate us but we were all proud.
Everyone around me was extremely disappointed witht he Diesel Junkies. Their behavior was inappropriate for a parade. None of us enjoyed having diesel smoke blown into our faces. Save it for the tracks guys!! My children’s safety and well being far outweighs how much money you put into your trucks.
Well there’s 3 events around here a year with diesels this year. This is a boring town and its getting worse and worse every year. Denied a skate park No water in a parade. We got nothing. We either go big or go home
I agree with Corey on this, the prep work that went into the truck was what made the parade happen for us. Without all the help of all of the guys, we wouldn’t have made it and it was fun for a lot of people who wanted to see something different. i am proud of everyone in their efforts in the parade.
