THIS TIME. THE STORMS EXTEND FROM SOUTHERN FOND DU LAC COUNTY…TO
NORTHERN KENOSHA COUNTY. THE STRONGEST STORMS ARE SITUATED OVER
OZAUKEE…MILWAUKEE…AND RACINE COUNTIES. THESE STORMS ARE
PROGRESSING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AND ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE
IMPACTING THESE COUNTIES THROUGH 4 PM.
HEAVY RAINFALL IS THE MAIN THREAT WITHIN THESE STORMS…WITH HALF
AN INCH UP TO AN INCH POSSIBLE DURING A HALF HOUR TIME PERIOD.
THE HEAVY RAINFALL COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED STREET FLOODING. WINDS

WINDS GREATER THAN 40 MPH…OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING… BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS…ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM. * THE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR… DOWNTOWN KENOSHA BY 425 PM CDT… GUSTY WINDS MAY CAUSE SMALL OBJECTS SUCH AS TRASH BINS TO BLOW AROUND. Showers and thunderstorms remain scattered across southern Wisconsin…with the heaviest storms stretching from Milwaukee County south into Kenosha County. These thunderstorms will persist over the area through before moving to the east onto Lake Michigan. Heavy rainfall is the main threat within these storms…with half an inch up to an inch possible during a half hour time period. The heavy rainfall could lead to localized street flooding. Winds gusting up to 50 mph remain possible within the strongest storms as well. Elsewhere…showers are developing over Sauk and Columbia counties and progressing quickly to the northeast. Rainfall amounts in these storms will total up to a couple tenths of an inch. Further development of showers and thunderstorms remains in the forecast through the evening and overnight hours.
