Sunday was not just Paddock Lake’s typical Fourth of July celebration. It also was the day the village celebrated its 50th anniversary (the actual incorporation date was July 14).

The celebration was extended this year after the traditional bike parade. The Westosha Kiwanis Club sponsored and staffed a tent pitcvhed across from Village Hall that was the location of food, beverages and music for the rest of the day. In the evening, there was a cake reception and showing of a historic slide show and pony rides for the children.
