The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Fox River in Western Kenosha County.
The river has been rising fast at the measuring station near New Munster and is expected to exceed the flood stage of 10 feet by this evening.
Heavy rain forecast for the next 24 or so hours is expected to drive the river just over 11 feet before receding again.
