HCE and Kenosha County 4-H to sponsor Community Sewing Day

Community Sewing Days will be sponsored by the Kenosha County Association for Home & Community Education and Kenosha County 4-H in July.

The Community Service project is open to sewers of all skill levels. Lap blankets, waker bags and adult bibs will be made and then distributed throughout the community.

The sewing days will be July 12 and July 22 from 3 to 8 p.m. Participants should bring their sewing machine and a sack lunch for dinner. Snacks and a dink will be provided.

Participants can come for an hour or stay for the whole time.

The project also needs donations of fabric, batting, bias tape, rickrack, buttons and thread. Donated itmes can be brought tot eh event, or dropped off at the UW-Extnesion Office at the Kenosha County Center, Highways 45 and 50, Bristol.
