At 2:47 p.m., Twin Lakes Fire Department is responding to a report of a gallon of acid smoking and burning pavement at the corner of Zerfas Drive and Second Avenue.
UPDATE 2:55 p.m. — Twin Lakes police officer on scene reports that firefighters have identified the chemical as muriatic acid, perhaps having fallen from a
truck. They have removed the container from the roadway.
