Trevor School Memorial Day Program coverage

Students David May, Emily LaValley, Jake Madriaga, Kevin Maiter, Mackenzie Neuroth, Rya Cunningham, Ashley Dietschweiler and Rebecca Heischberg re-enacted the Iwo Jima Memorial and told the stories of the service men involved.

Students at Trevor School held their traditional Memorial Day Program Friday morning at the school.

In addition to various musical performances and readings, the program included remarks by state Sen. Robert Wirch. The program also included a re-enactment of the Iwo Jima Memorial, including students telling the stories of the individuals involved in the famous flag raising on Mount Suribachi.

The program also included acknowledgement of teacher Jan Sielski, who for many years has organized the program and is retiring from the school after 36 years:
