A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a single vehicle crash Sunday night.

Twin Lakes police officers and Twin Lakes Fire and Rescue responded to the call at 8:48 p.m. at Lance Drive (Highway O) and Highway P.

Gregory S. Roman, 55, of Twin Lakes, the driver of the motorcycle, was transported to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa by Flight for Life helicopter. The motorcycle appeared to be the only vehicle involved in the crash.

UPDATE — I have some additional info supplied by Twin Lakes Chief Dale Racer: Roman was driving his motorcycle southbound on Highway P approaching Lance Drive (Hwy O) and drifted onto the gravel shoulder losing control of the cycle. He was not wearing a helmet and sustained minor abrasions to the face and a large laceration to the head. Further investigation showed Roman was intoxicated and he was issued municipal citations for operating while intoxicated and unreasonable and imprudent speed.
