Paddock Lake will be hosting a Green Expo this summer.
Such an event seemed to warrant a logo, so Trustee Kathy Christensen set up a contest among Central High School art students with the help of art teacher Chris Lois.
The resulting designs were good — too good you might even say.
“We had a number of great designs and could not choose just one winning logo so we decided to choose three winning designs,” Christensen said.
The winners were recently recognized at a Village Board meeting. They are:
Kelsey Marsh – Reusable Tote Bags
Mike Meade – Paddock Lake “Taking Strides towards a Greener Community” Tee-shirt
Cara Dombkowski – Reusable Water Bottle
Each winning designer received a $50 savings bond from Southport Bank.
The Green Expo will take place on Saturday, July 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Village Hall.
