At about 9:30 a.m., Paris Fire and Rescue and Bristol Fire are responding to the report of a garbage truck on fire at the Pheasant Run Landfill in the 19400 block of 60th St. (Highway K), Paris.
UPDATE 9:45 a.m. — A deputy at the scene reports that the fire appears to have been put out by landfill employees.
UPDATE 9:50 a.m. — Firefighter reports to dispatch that the fire was in a regular garbage truck, that now has heavy damage to the cab and body.
UPDATE 10:11 a.m. — Paris and Bristol fire units have cleared the scene.
