At about 9:10 a.m., units from Salem Fire/Rescue and Bristol Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a house fire on 234th Ave in Paddock Lake.
The fire was in an outside light fixture that was left on, a firefighter at the scene told me. It was put out quickly with damage to some siding and sheathing on the garage.
A neighbor saw the fire and called 911, the firefighter said.
UPDATE 10:15 a.m. — Last fire unit clears the scene.
