Wilmot High School to present “Fiddler”

High School will present the musical “Fiddler on the Roof” on Friday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 1st at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, May 2 at 2 p.m. The play is directed by Lance Haas and assisted by Amy Weckerle.

The story takes place in 1905 on the eve of the Russian Revolutionary Period in Anatevka, a small Russian village. It centers on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempt to maintain his family and religious traditions while outside influences encroach upon their lives. The music is by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and book by Joseph Stein.

Ticket prices are $7 for adults, and $5 for students and seniors.  Call 862-2351 extension 507 for tickets. They also will be available at the door beginning one hour before each performance.
