A program on Neighborhood Watch and preventing burglaries scheduled for May in Paris will still be held despite recent arrests for those burglaries in Paris, town Chairman Virgil Gentz said Tuesday evening.
The Kenosha Sheriff’s Department will present the program May 5, at 6:30 p.m. at Paris Town Hall, 16607 Burlington Road (Highway 142).
Though the arrests are bringing some relief that the immediate problem is over, the thought was to still hold the program, Gentz said.
“They (the Sheriff’s Department) feel quite confident all the people were caught,” Gentz said. “Boy it would be nice if those things are over.”
Arrest of three individuals was announced by the Sheriff’s Department last Friday.
