Election Day is Tuesday

Pools will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday for the Spring Election, which will fill county board, municipal and school board seats among others.

There are contests for the following seats of West of the I interest:

County Board

  • District 24, which includes Silver Lake and parts of Brighton, Salem and Wheatland.
  • District 23, which includes Paddock Lake and part of Salem.

Towns and villages

  • Silver Lake trustee.
  • Paddock Lake trustee.
  • Salem supervisor.
  • Randall supervisor.

School Boards

  • Salem School.
  • Wilmot High School.
  • Randall School.
  • Lakewood School, which has a contest for school board and a recall election for board President Steve Dunn.
  • In the Bristol School District, there are only two candidates on the ballot for two seats, but two individuals are running an organized write-in campaign.

    Went to Ward 12 to vote (Town Hall, Salem) and was 115 (they started with No.#1 there) at about 10 AM. Downpour just prior kept folks home or??? have
