At 8:29 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are responding to the report of a car that has run off the east side of Highway 83 near Highway SA in Salem.
UPDATE 8:32 p.m. — Car is apparently a ways off the road in a swampy area. Deputy on scene reports that the driver is trying to get out of the swamp, and appears to not be seriously injured.
UPDATE 9:07 p.m. — Crash apparently took down a road sign at SA and 83.
