At 4:20 p.m., units from Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Twin Lakes Rescue are responding to the report of a grass fire in the 5600 block of 376th Avenue, Wheatland.
UPDATE 4:22 p.m. — Dispatch says fire was a controlled burn that got out of hand. It is reportedly not near any structures.
UPDATE 4:35 p.m. — Deputy reports to dispatch that fire is small and the fire department will have it under control soon.
UPDATE 5:11 p.m. — Wheatland FD is clear of the scene.
