At 1:25 p.m., units from Salem Fire/Rescue are responding to the report of a field on fire in the 29800 block of 41st in Brighton.
UPDATE 1:27 p.m. — Fire apparently in field behind a home, but no other structures near flames. Source of fire is discarded charcoal briquettes, according to scanner transmissions.
UPDATE 1:40 p.m. — Deputies will be shutting down traffic on 41st Street.
UPDATE 1:56 p.m. — Salem units beginning to return to quarters.
