Those objecting to recent changes in the cable TV line-up available to Twin Lakes residents — which included the Village Board — appear to have won a partial victory from provider Charter Communications.

Trustee Tom Connolly announced Monday that instead of dropping the Chicago-based CBS affiliate, it will move WBBM into the digital range. Resident that do not have a digital tuner need to obtain a converter from Charter.

Earlier this month the village sent a letter to Charter objecting to the announced dropping of WBBM and WTTW, the Chicago-based Public Television channel.
