At 1:39 p.m., units from Salem Fire/Rescue are responding to the report of a motorcycle crash on Highway C near Trevor School.
Rescue personnel on the scene report that the driver of the motorcycle is conscious and breathing and appears to have a head laceration above the eye.
UPDATE at 1:53 p.m. — Deputy reports that motorcyclist looked down and then laid bike down to avoid a collision after looking back up.
