The Fox River at the New Munster Measuring Station peaked at 11.79 feet Sunday night and is — slowly — receding. Right now, the forecast calls for the river to be back under flood stage sometime Saturday.
Perhaps part of that is there’s no rain in the forecast , until a slight chance Friday. Thursday, a high temp of 63 is forecast.
