At 9:53 p.m., units from Silver Lake Rescue and Salem Fire/Rescue are responding to a report of a rollover accident on Highway 142 near the entrance of Bong State Recreation Area in Brighton.
UPDATE 10 p.m. — The scene was reported by a passerby who said they saw a Jeep on its roof with the doors open. They could not see anyone nearby. Kansasville Fire Department also is responding. Report was made by someone who saw vehicle and then continued home before calling.
UPDATE 10:05 p.m. — Deputies searching area between the Bong entrance and Highway 75 are not finding the vehicle. Deputies are now checking east of Highway 75 and west of the entrance along Highway 142.
UPDATE 10:15 p.m. — Rescue and fire department personnel on scene, but awaiting further instructions. Ditch lines along Highway 75 south of Highway 142 now being checked.
UPDATE 10:21 p.m. — No overturned vehicle located. Rescue units beginning to return to quarters.
