Snow is falling, but apparently not enough to close schools. As of 5:31 a.m., no West of the I school had announced closing for the day due to the snow.
The National Weather Service Forecast is calling for accumulation of of 4 to 8 inches today with another 2 to 4 inches tonight. When I get out to shovel in a little bit, I’ll visit the West of the I weather railing and give you a reading on the overnight total accumulation.
Overnight accumulation on the West of the I weather railing was 1 inch. That’s considerably less than the 4 inches the National Weather Service was saying yesterday we might see.
As for removal qualities, the snow was light and easy to push shovel and brush.
