The snow has continued to fly all day, but it doesn’t seem to be accumulating much at West of the I headquarters anyway.
For the day, we measure about 3 inches of accumulation. The snow does seem pretty wet now, which might be keeping it from stacking up.
The National Weather Service is still calling for 5 to 9 inches of accumulation during the day today and a possible 2 to 4 inches more tonight. But perhaps the worst hazard will also begin tonight as winds pick up and blowing snow conditions develop.
UPDATE 4:06 p.m. — After not really accumulating much for a while, the snow seemed to begin to stick again around 3 and we have had .25 inch fall in the last hour.
