Units from Salem Fire/Rescue and Bristol Fire Department are responding to a report of smoke in a basement in the 8600 block of 222nd Court, Salem.
Person reporting the smoke thought it might be from a furnace motor. Residents of the home were evacuating as the call was being made.
UPDATE 6:03 a.m. — Personnel on scene reporting no smoke showing.
UPDATE 6:07 a.m. — Some personnel being released from scene.
