Death penalty ban sought for man accused in slaying of Trevor woman

Attorneys for James Ealy, the man accused of murdering Trevor resident Mary Hutchinson, are seeking to bar the state of Illinois from seeking the death penalty in his case, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting.

Ealy is accused of murdering Hutchinson at the Lindenhurst, Ill. fast food restaurant where she worked as a manager.
