Scout troop to host breakfast and 100th anniversary celebration

Boy Scout Troop 328 in Salem will be having their annual Super Bowl Pancake Breakfast on Feb 7, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Salem School, 8828 Antioch Road (Highway 83).

In recognition of the 100th anniversary of Scouting, the troop invites former members of the troop for a reunion at the breakfast. A special name tag will be provided at check in.  Former Scouts will be recognized with a picture video, memories of past events and special recognition.

Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for seniors and children 5 to 12 years old. Those under 4 eat free.

The menu all you can eat eggs, sausage, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, juice and coffee.

There also will be a silent auction.

Funds raised by the event pay for Scout activities, including camp outs.
