Longtime Twin Lakes police officer Wayne Trongeau is retiring from the force after his shift this Friday.
An open house in his honor is scheduled for 3 to 6 p.m., Friday at Village Hall.
“I’ve worked with Wayne on many issues over the years …” said village President Howard Skinner. “It will be a big slot to fill.”
Trongeau has been a member of the police department for 37 years.
