The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Fox River near New Munster.
Ice jams are causing the issue. At last observation, the river was at about 11 feet, about a foot over action stage. Some minor flooding may be resulting. The river is retreating from a high of almost 12 feet yesterday.
As for temperature, this week looks to be brrrrrrrrr!
