From about 3:15 to 3:30 p.m., Randall and Twin Lakes fire and rescue personnel were busy responding to calls:

  • An injured skier at Wilmot Mountain. A skier hit his head hard enough to crack a helmet, but apparently not seriously injured.
  • A driver of a car in the ditch in the 7600 block of Highway O is apparently having a diabetic reaction.
  • A student at Randall School was hit in the head by a falling basketball hoop. He is bleeding, but it is under control, according to radio transmissions.

The Richmond Fire Department was called in as mutual aid for the third call.
