Some 290 families who are in need will receive complete Christmas dinners, gifts and other holiday trinkets from sponsors throughout Kenosha County and a few from Racine County on Saturday, Dec. 19 thanks to The Sharing Center and the Anonymous Angels who adopt families.
Anonymous Angles come from all walks of life: private businesses, churches and church organizations, community organizations, and even a shrine. The mainstay of the Sharing Center’s Adopt-a-Family program, of course, is individual citizens, said Marie Huml, communications chairperson for The Sharing Center.
Dropoff and pickup location for the Christmas program is Holy Cross Catholic Parish-Wilmot, at the Intersection of Highways C and B.
Dropoff time and date is 6 to 9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 19.
Pickup time and date is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19.
Those families, who need additional directions or information, should call the Sharing Center at 262-997-0783.
