At 12:20 p.m., Salem Fie/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of smoke in a house in the 25400 block of 60th Street (Highway K), along the Salem, Brighton border.
UPDATE 12:23 p.m. — First fire personnel on the scene report the smoke appears to be coming from a wood burning stove in the house, perhaps a rag on top of the stove.
Additional units from Bristol Fire and Rescue were called off.
