Sheriff’s Department issues CrimeStoppers alert

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department has issued the following CrimeStopeprs alert (Note: The incidents happened well east of the I):

crimestoppers-logoIn the early morning hours of November 28, 2009, unknown suspects committed numerous vehicle entries. These entries occurred in Somers township near Sheridan Road and CTH E. Most of the vehicles were left unlocked while parked in residential driveways. Items taken consisted of GPSs, coins, wallets, credit cards and miscelleanous paperwork.

Sheriff David Beth strongly encourages residents to lock their vehicles at night.

Anyone having information on this crime or any other crimes are requested to call the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department at 262-605-5100 or Kenosha Area CrimeStoppers at 262-656-7333 or 800-807-8477. Callers can earn a reward of up to $1000. Callers can remain anonymous.
