Candidate petition circulating season begins today

Today is the first day candidates can begin circulating nomination papers for offices to be decided in the April 2010 municipal and school board elections.

Local municipal seats that will be decided are:

i-voted-webBristol — The seats held by Town Board Supervisor #2 Colleen Fisch and Town Board Supervisor #4 John McCabe.

Salem — The seats held by Town Board Supervisor Dennis Faber and Town Board Supervisor Jo Weidman.

Randall — The seats held by Town Board Supervisor Robert Gehring and Town Board Supervisor Ken Mangold.

Paddock Lake — The seats held by village Trustee Karen Harris, village Trustee Joe Riesselmann and a vacant village trustee seat.

Silver Lake — The seats held by village Trustee Chris Willkomm, village Trustee Sue Gerber and village Trustee Barb Ironside.

Twin Lakes — The seats held by village Trustee Thomas Connolly, village Trustee Michael Moran and village Trustee Jeremy Knoll.

The towns of Paris, Brighton and Wheatland do not have seats up in the spring election.

There are also school board seats that will be filled in April. I have not compiled all of those yet, but I will post them when I do.
