At a little before 1 p.m., sheriff’s deputies and Salem Fire/Rescue responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 6100 block of 248th Ave., Paddock Lake.

Involved were a Chevrolet pick-up truck and a Jeep. As a result of the crash, the Jeep rolled onto the passenger driver’s side and emergency workers had to assist the driver in getting out. The driver of the Jeep walked to the ambulance under their own power, but was transported by ambulance from the scene.

The driver of the pick-up truck was cited for failure to yield the right of way while pulling out of a driveway. (I was driving the pick-up truck — DH)

The Jeep was removed from the scene by tow truck.
