At 9:44 a.m., Silver Lake Rescue and Salem Fire/rescue are responding to a report of a broken gas line at a mobile home park in the 8000 block of 280th Avenue.
Reportedly a truck has hit the line and people there cannot turn it off.
UPDATE 9:50 a.m.: Line is a 1.5-inch residential line, still leaking gas. We Energies being notified.
UPDATE 10:05 a.m.: The fire department has “pinched off” the leak.
