The Paris School Board will hold a special meeting tonight.
On the agenda is certification of the tax levy. A levy of $2.19 million was approved at the district’s annual meeting in August. That represented a 28 percent increase over last year’s levy, mostly due to additional levy authority granted by a referendum in June. The levy to be considered tonight may have changed, based on final state aid info that typically becomes available in mid-October.
There also is an executive session on the agenda.
